Hey,

Looking at getting a good quality mechanical watch (manual winding) for my dad this Christmas; and am in a price range of less than $600. More of a traditionally styled watch with a leather or exotic skin strap, something along the lines of this (very rough guide, suggest what you will):

I like the caseback but I find the face a tad too noisy for my tastes.

The movement is stunning! Sadly, I just don't love the dial. The positive side of that is I won't have to set up a charity to compete with Stitchy's JLC charity.
