I've had multiple Swatch Group watches, including GO and Omega go through repair or service within the warranty period and never once had the slightest issue with the stamped warranty cards or with them honoring their warranty.

Well good for you then! Not all experiences are the same, obviously. I guess you didn't buy them at Costco.

I'm sure most of the grey market sellers offer in house warrantys which mirror manufacturer warrantys closely. After that, the manufacturer treats it just like any post warranty watch for service. Not a big deal, except that the fellow who asked about buying used in the first place specifically mentioned he wants an Omega. I would not buy an Omega from a gray market dealer, because Omega appears to be especially sensitive to the issue. whyntake the risk?I would buy a used one first.

In fact, I'm not sure how we got on the gray market track, as it were. Quick, somebody post a picture of puppies.

Anyone else notice the new 38.5 mm offering from Dornbluth? Fitted with a completely inhouse movement, the watch is known as the Quintus - available in two models: the Klassik and Auf & Ab (power reserve). More details on http://www.dornblueth.com/flash.php?p=collection&s=refcal_20101

Great size for pencil wrist types, such as myself! The Klassik is apparently selling for around 7,000 Euros, and 10,000 for the Auf & Ab.

Anyone have feedback regarding Wolf winders? The version made for this vendor, Topper 1940, seems a pretty decent buy for the price:

Wolf winders are great, long lasting, functional winders with good after sales support if needed.
Buy with no hesitation.icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

And now, it would appear that I am to embark on a quest fraught with the risk, or perhaps certainty, of utter ruin.

As much as I'd like to support official channels, the price differentials are too big to be ignored for what is essentially the same product.

i find there are plenty of of ADs that will give good discounts, but lacking that, i wholeheartedly agree.

Never pay retail - ever. Also, never seen a serial removed on anything I've bought.

id guess ive bought over 25 rolexes, panerais, IWC, AP, etc....always grey market. always from a trusted seller. never a problem.
