(not my pic)

Understated and much nicer than the other strap with the larger lettering.

That's a very cool watch!!!  I love asymetric watches.  I've seen a few other vintage asymetric watches from from Hamilton. There are also some nice vintage examples out there from Patek, AP, VC and Cartier.  I have one asymetric watc.  Its a VC from 2006, which was based on a design from 1972, hence its called the 1972.  Below is a photo of my asymetric watch.

Best regards,

Dino

Picked up this Submariner on the weekend and couldn't be happier with it. Also have a Stowa Antea 365 on mid brown croc strap enroute sometime in August.

I like that ^^ a lot.  The only problem with vintage is finding one big enough.  I have a V & C vintage that's 36-37mm which is large for late 40's model.  Most are 33-35mm.  How big is yours?

After many months, I finally found a PAM 390 at a reasonable price. Will post pics once I get it next week.

Thank you. It's 35mm but with the lugs it's 40mm long. My personal preference is for 35-37mm, with 40mm being my "maximum" size. This one is an heirloom from the '60s anyway, so most of its value to me is sentimental. Runs like a train though. FHF movt from memory.

I'd like to see some pics of your V&C - sounds like a nice piece!
