Mmmmm... How I love offset dials.

New Lunar vs. old Lunar XL.

I concur smile.gif.

I think that may be my next purchase, perhaps. Time to start saving...

This... I'm leaning towards the PanoReserve tho. I'll probably pull the trigger in a couple years.

I'm probably the minority here.

Since I don't think I'd want another moonphase (unless GO releases total jaw-dropping nut-busting awesomeness), I am leaning toward either the pano reserve or the senator observer. Definitely want a GO for my collection at some point tho I dont know exactly what

For the immediate, I think I am settled on the Speedy Pro. Now the Q is: 1969, 1980 (my birth year), or brand spanking new? open caseback (dont like the fact the inscription says "first and only watch worn on the moon" though.) ? sapphire or hesalite? decisions decisions... biggrin.gif

Rappers don't need to know what time it is. That's what the entourage is for.

That makes sense. The PML would be my first moonphase... and what a moonphase it is! I still think your JLC MUT Moon is the ne plus ultra of moonphases in that price range, however, with the Blancpain Villeret running a close second. But I digress.

If I was to do a Speedy Pro, I think I would do brand spanking new. Vintage worries me a big. And for some reason or another, probably the Hesalite... just because it feels right with that watch. You have a lot of big, fun decisions ahead of you.

And Warren, I think the new Panoreserve is really beautiful, much prettier than the previous iteration, in my opinion. And this is a bit of an aside, but what exactly does the Panograph do?

Hey Cylon, good call on the Speedmaster. I would actually hunt down for this ref # 3572. Basically hesalite front crystal, and sapphire display back (displaying the movement). Birth year watch is pretty cool and all. But I wouldn't get an older Speedmaster, unless it was a premoon (321 cal).

I really do miss my Speedy tho.

I agree. I'm also a huge sucker for manual wind.
