Its definitely a product of the 70s with its integrated bracelet...something like the offspring of a RO, a VC 222 and Datejust. I've always favored the sports models from Rolex, so the OQ is my only Datejust. BTW, nice looking fabric on that suit. My Explorer 2 gets the most wrist time. It was a wedding gift from my wife, since she figured I could use a watch with a second timezone when we were traveling on our honeymoon.
I was thinking of picking up this Hamilton Viewmatic as an everyday beater/whatever watch. Thoughts? (btw... $275... good price?)

also I've never purchased anything from the TimeZone sales corner... is there anything I should know? Thanks fellas...
I saw this; looks like a good deal.
Nice, but the ensemble is just not the same.
oh yeah +1 double hairspring tourbillon
Beautiful watches. However, with limited distribution and small production, if something happens to him and the company doesn't remain in business, parts could be very difficult to come by. A friend's wife has an Eterna (Porsche Design owns them). Although the brand is still in business, their distribution in the US has always been quite limited, which has resulted in her having difficulty getting parts for her 10 year old watch (damaged its bezel) . Her watch wasn't that pricey so maybe not a big deal, but on a really pricey watch that would worry me. Still stunning watches from Laurent Ferrier.
