Long time reader, built up the courage to make my first post and share my JLC Reverso with you guys. Its a Grande Ultra Thin - Special Italian edition, limited to 150 pieces.

Thats a beauty!  What is the limited edition celebrating and how does it differ from a non-limited edition.  Great watch, you should post more photos.

Red "R" in place of "8" and the inner track embellished with touches of red. As Romp mentioned, distribution is limited to Italy

 

And yes looks great on your wrist!

BTW is that a 153.24.20? Definitely on my short list of dress watches, trying to decide whether to get something like that or just be a bit ridiculous and go for a KV or PD when one comes up.

HI guys thanks ... Didnt realise the first post needed to be approved so accidently got posted twice.

 

Key differences are the red R at 8, blue steel hands and the track correctly identified above. Im Australian so its just great having a piece that was never available here so, hopefully i dont run into someone with the same watch.

 

Got it while on Honeymoon in Italy so bit of a momento:) Not that id sell it anytime soon but a bonus is that my local second hand dealer has offered more than i paid as he prices relative to Australian RRP of equivalent watch and i paid euro and got a hefty discount in Italy! 

 

Ill post pics of other watches in my collection over coming weeks

Welcome Romp from a follow Aussie! The JLC is a excellent choice, I have been thinking about pulling the trigger on a Reverso Grande GMT.

I don't think that I would get something like the Italian one unless I was in Romp's situation though. That is a heck of a story though, and I am sure you will never let go of that watch! The only Reverso variation that I really like is the Special Edition Tribute to 1931. That one is sweet. I have heard that you really need to try on Reverso's before you go for one of them though. I am interested to see how one fits on my wrist.

And those Nomos sure are beautiful. I have been lusting after the Tangente. Despite being 35mm, I have heard that it wears quite well.

for sure. I got to try on a few last year and recently tried on the ultra thin in Hong Kong. I prefer them from the period before they started getting too big (for me) but I did like the ultra thin.

Beautiful master chrono. Yes I had my heart set on a reverso duo, but the grande ultra thin just rolled perfectly around my wrist like a bracelet! 

 

Ive got quite a few vintage pieces but im keen on a 50s reverso next... Much smaller size. The tribute to 1931 is an awesome piece too but there is a special one you can get in america that has a nice looking strap.
