FWIW a lot of European made OTR shirts have huge cuffs, you can fit any watch under them. Asian-made shirts, OTR or MTM are usually pretty tiny, cuff-wise.

I agree, very nice - it's good to have some variety, in sizes as well as brands and models.

Is this yfyf sporting the 42mm Portuguese 5001?

Great watches, but BP looks really big on you. Portuguese is much better in my taste.

Here is my limit of size )

not against big watches, but there's big and then there's big...

Just for clarification, those weren't pictures of me. They are other people from WAYWRN - I also don't think they are the same person, but I could be mistaken.

New cordovan Nato strap for my sub:

How do you like the NATO with a thicker strap like that? Does the whole concept work adequately? I would think that the thickness of the cordovan would make the strap uncomfortable?

Good that you managed to get a shell strap through the pins. I have a vintage Sub and such a strap just would not go through.

In my opinion the cordovan straps are beautiful - but very, very hard to use since the leather is too thick, just as many cheap "leather" NATOs. These "lift" the watch too much and the watch becomes high and wiggly...

agree, and not feeling it on the Rolex unfortunately. If they'd shave that cordovan down a bit they'd maybe make a case, but that foldback part still ruins the flow. Plus, it'd erase the Horween logo, and that's the whole point for many. :P

Some of the tool watches like the Damaskos and Sinns would look better on the cordo NATOs but still, it's an awkward product.

The BP was one of my favorite watches just from an aesthetic standpoint. The only reason I bought the BP instead of the Portuguese 5001 was because of the central second hand - being so large, the sweep second is really mesmerizing. The Portuguese is on my short list as well - display back is great with that movement.

Here's a bit more cuff porn. Casual Wednesday for me. Yes, it fits under my cuff even when completely buttoned. I usually have my shirts made with the left cuff slightly larger, but this is OTR T&A.

Nice shot of your AP. BP = Blancpain?
