Rolex King Midas, a 60/70s high-end model (approx twice the price of a DD...) that was the heaviest gold watch money could buy. Ultrathin (5mm!), JLC-powered and absolutely lovely old-school bling.

Nato on my SKX007, or keep it on stock rubber band? Or upgrade the stock one to one of those fancy silicon clasp types?

Quick update on this: -My Max Bill started working again. Who the fuck knows? -I'm still searching for a cost-effective (as cost-effective as it can be at least) option for the Cartier. Any suggestions or recommendations would be welcome. Also, as a shameless plug, I've got a few nice watches for sale in my sig. Shit I've bought over the past few years, with the intention of wearing, but never getting around to doing so.

i'm sure you can find someone local that can service the cartier. i broke the bracelet of mine once and cartier wanted to replace it. would have cost me 2k. took it to a competent watch guy and he was able to do it for $100 including service. i guess the bracelet was no biggie to repair if the guy knows what he's doing. i took it to other places and they couldn't but were able to rpelace other parts like crown/ dial so these places weren't incompetent or anything. i live in asia though so no closer recs. sorry.
