I am currently in love with German watches.

I own a Laco Flieger watch

on the wish list is a Stowa marine Original
and a Meistersinger 1z

I hope to own these other two within a year.

Who are authorized dealers of Stowa in America?

Are STOWA watches available at retailers?

To ensure that we can consistently offer you the best price, we sell our watches through our online shop. By doing so, we keep our distribution, retail and wholesale costs down"”and that allows us to pass along the savings on to you. We have, however, made some of our
watches available through a select few retailers. In Germany, the STOWA Exima is available at Manufactum department stores (Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Waltrop). In the U.S., the STOWA Seatime ProDiver is available through watchbuys.com. In Japan, a selection of STOWA watches can be found at Tic Tac watch stores. In Taiwan and South Korea you can find the complete collection of STOWA watches.

Watchbuys (the German watch specialist) sells Stowa IIRC

Socal is right

Jorg Schauer keeps the prices reasonable by letting you buy directly from Stowa.
What you get in relation to what you pay is in the case of Stowa a very attractive proposition. And as a dutchman, I like a not overly fussy (or overdecorated)design, not exactly less is more, but a clean and sober look. The stowa aesthethic but also IWC, meistersinger, b-uhr flieger watches, do very well at dutch watch fora, where there is little to no love for bling or busy/loud design that you see on the majority of expensive watches.

Yep, some nice watches on the Stowa site. Very elegant.

I think we'll be in hell for other reasons than a Prada watch.

A fake of a watch that wasn't even that expensive to begin with? The desperation.

Along the lines of minimalism, this Georg Jensen chronograph is rather nice-looking:

Wow checking out the Stowa site there are some very attractive pieces. The movement on that Marine is beautiful.

I hope IWC and Prada never collaborate again but they did produce an attractive piece. Good recall.

I purchased a special edtion Antea from Stowa website last year. The transaction was smooth and the watch quality is excellent compared to the price. No huge marketing mark up on their watches.

I hope IWC stops collaborating at all now that the Top Gun Doppel is officially part of the company's history. IWC needs to revert to what it was about 5 years ago and decide that its elegant austerity is an asset worth preserving.
