Beautiful Sub, is that a 16610?

This is my Ball Skylab (SE). Rolex Day-Date 18k (1963). This was a gift from my grandfather as he was the original owner, I took off the band to check the serial number in order to date it. Will be sending this baby in to get serviced sometime this year. I'll post the rest of my collection sometime, have tons of pics to take

Yes it is. Your Day-Date looks beautiful. It should look like new when it gets back from service.

Model number would be appreciated. Not finding too many examples of them for sale online without it.

you can get these on watch fora like tz for around £700, although you may have to factor in a service, still one of the best bargains out there IMO.

My next purchase will be a lange 1.. As there are no Langes in Australia, mind me asking where did you purchase and price? PM is ok...

Purchased second-hand in US, about 42% off retail (+$2k for service overhaul & polishing). With the strength of the Aussie dollar, you should be able to find good deals in the US and HK. Which model are you targeting?? New or second-hand?
