Curious why this and not say the Rolex GMTIIc?

Gaz

Thanks. I like the 'look' of the piece (+ the Anthracite dial color), and also kinda like the fact that its not readily available in the U.S. Just generally hate Rolex, so that's a no-go for me.

Saw the Senator Hand Date for the first time this weekend. A beautiful watch at a great price (pics from www.watchprosite.com):

Where in the U.S. can one check out Lang & Heyne and Urban Jürgensen watches?

These are just lovely:

Now we're talkin'! As for the Union piece I've never really been enamored with their watches. Just fair designs IMO. I'd rather go for two lower priced pieces like a Stowa and an Archimede or spend a bit more on a Glashutte or Nomos.

I like it too. The anthracite dial is also a nice touch. I like its reflective properties, similar to that of mother of pearl but much more uniformed and not as feminine.

It gets my vote.

My first automatic (present from my wife). Temporary black strap until I find something nicer. Any feedback on Hirsch?

Minor problem with getting this watch. I've now ordered another Seiko, a couple of NOS manual wind watches and am very tempted by a s/h Titoni... Is this more addictive than shoes?
MODEL NUMBER PLEASE

Nice Longines! I have the big brother to that one myself, stopped dreaming of the Portuguese after getting it: http://img826.imageshack.us/i/ettk.jpg/
