Don't think I've ever seen one for sale on either TimeZone or WatchUSeek. Barely any Heuer vintage at all. Shame because I'd be all over it. I'd like one of those and a Monaco or an original Silverstone.

Had a stressful night at work, but once I had sorted things out I stopped to snap a picture of my watch. The face was smudged all over with synthetic oil-based mud, but I do this to it all the time and it cleans up just fine. Except when I had a wound spring explode on me one day, it put a small nick in the case and a small cut on my cheek.
i have talked myself out of getting a 5001 a few times because i had the feeling that its just not robust enough for day to day use. somehow the large face and lack of bezel make it seem vulnerable. seems that i was wrong though
Great thread, with some amazing watches.. couldn't resist as my first post- here's one of my more dressier ones which is reserved for special occasions. Anyway, looking forward to educating myself and contributing here having just been browsing for a while
