I'm not a big fan of two-tone watches, but the brushed surfaces and light-absorbing dial somehow make that spectacular.  Seems a Jumbo is just never wrong. :)

Agreed. However, I think two-tone actually suits the RO quite well. It highlights the bezel and the bracelet. As this is from the first run in the 70's, it also gives that rich, vintage vibe to it. As you say, the dial ultimately ties it all together. I've had and seen many many RO's, and have to say that there's something special about this one.

Yes, I also find it one of the rare cases where two-tone works. There really aren't many of those, IMO.
