What are your thoughts on the Perrelet watch brand?

I was interested in the IWC Portuguese but just cant seem to fit it in the budget...then the Perrelet Moonphase watch caught my eye

Ive read as much as I could, but is it worth it?

save for the IWC. :)

but srsly, the perrelet brand has a very rich history, but its a revival brand. it was dormant for a very long time until the present ownership (i forget who) bought the rights and starting making watches again.

i dont know a whole lot about their current models. they do make some very pretty pieces, but id favor the IWC. if you dont want to or cant get to the IWC, i imagine there might be some better options in whatever price range you are looking to stick to.

then again, if you love the watch, there is much to be said for that. but since you only said "it caught your eye" i gather its not something you are head over heels in love with.

ok TWAT bros, here is the final hint. prepare to be underwhelmed! .....

the name of the watch rhymes with a world famous, and presently retired, tennis champion.

+1 Agree 100%.

Khal, personally, its not a brand that makes much of an impression on me. However, if you love it, go for it. Only you know what the right decision is.
