Nice gathering!!!  Yes the AP Star Wheel does does pre-date the Urkwerk by many years.  My father gave one some serious consideration when the Star Wheel was still available new in 1995 (but I believe they were released a few years prior to that).  It's a great watch but  the crown is a tad small. He ended up choosing a different model.

:inlove:The 5712/a is my favorite modern Nautilus model, with the 5711 a close second.

And ze watch. Pam 560. Have a Gunny Caitlin 2 on order and two straps coming this evening to hold me over as the black strap does nothing for me.

Must admit I'm scared as hell to scratch the lugs but I'll tape it with hospital or scotch tape and go real slow.

Huge thanks to @steel28 for helping with this.

Thanks mimo!

The 1950 case is great; 1940 maybe my favourite in the real world, but for the Luminor with the crown guard I think that's a really classic look.  Lovely.

There are just so many options. I like how these new in-house bases are a bit thinner and lighter. I have my eyes set on a radiomir next..

My friend posted this on his Facebook. Do u guys think it's a fake? The date number 9 is not crisp and sharp. The date aperture is also jagged not smooth. Not rolex quality at all imo. I don't think he's the kinda guy who would buy a replica.
