BLNR... what a stunner...

Disregard Financial Self preservation, acquire both.

Good watch spotting at Mother's Day brunch yesterday.  Saw a coke bezel gmt and a tudor chorno at near but separate tables.

Come along now, TWATters, I need your help here quickly!

Three hand gold watch with bright red dial, 40mm so will wear large on lady...need a strap suggestion.

Getting tons of mileage from the Fat Carter I picked up from the store!

Nice - that's a great bag.  Will get better with time and use too.

I was kinda shocked when I saw that watch - you would think that a brand that gets so frequently knocked off as Burberry would know better than knocking off a watch design like that... but strangely enough, they don't!

mimo, that's a tough match. As you know, red dials are fairly uncommon; but if you're already there, then why not fully commit and get your lady a red strap for it as well?

Red on red, I say.

Perhaps in lizard grain .... Amazon should provide you with some options for the after-market Michele / Philip Stein crowd.

Or here's a link to DeBeer: http://www.debeerwatchbands.com/lizard-watch_band-qr.html

Good luck my friend.

I love the dial and bezel of the BLNR, but the classic look of the Sub, its brushed bracelet and the magnificence of its Glidelock clasp makes it the winner for me.

I should point out, as a matter of course, that many 116710 GMT owners get their bracelets brushed.

^ I'm sure they do, but I don't like that sort of alteration.

I sold my sub for a BLNR, as I found the half blue bezel beautiful; and 24 hour display with GMT more useful.

Need to take a break from shoes and clothing to get back into the watch game. Focusing on these four:

Autodromo Stradale (for casual wear)
Stowa Flieger Chrono, black face
Nomos Club
Tudor Black Bay (red/black)

Curse you gents for stoking this fire!

The Tudor BB (esp in red) is a great watch. I much prefer it's coin edge bezel over the Rolex Subs. I had one but sold it because of it's large size.

I like it a lot too but every time I try it on I find it a bit too thick for me. It's beautifully made though and I always admire it on others. Especially like it on leather (and leather nato) straps.

Does it wear larger than the size (41mm) would indicate? I have a 43x11.5 mm watch and while it is large, it's not unwearable for me.

What's your wrist circumference?

Yes exactly! The case thickness follows all the way to the edge of the lugs. It doesn't taper off like other watches. It would be perfect at 80% its size. But then it would probably canobalize Rolex Sub sales.
