Do you already have some things in mind? It's easier if we have an idea of what you like. I recently went through a similar exercise and I eventually wound up getting something someone on here recommended.

I like something a simple in design that has a distinguishable touch. I do like the JL MUT Moon, but do not like the other 2 suggestions by the previous person.

Some other watches that I like so far from 30min of online search:

Blancpain Villert Ultra Slim

JL Master Ultra Thin 41 (I like the JL MUT Moon a little more)

IWC Portugese Chronograph Automatic

IWC Portofino Automatic

Baume & Mercier Capeland 10106

Any suggestions that are similar to these in style?

I would recommend going to prestigetime.com and jomashop and alanfurman, and browsing as many models as you can, and seeing what you like.

Similar to what I was looking at as well! My short list of three consisted of the Glashutte PanaLunaMatic, JLC Master Control, IWC Ingenieur, but this is what I wound up with this, as recommended by Dino:

Yeah, hitting balls with an RO on the wrist would make me wince a little. Even the big boys wait until after the round to put on the sponsor's product for the photo op. "Stomach in, Rolex out," as Gary Player is fond of advising.

I've often wondered whether Roger Federer has ever played competitive tennis with a Rolex strapped to his wrist.

I don't see the problem guys :D

I like to wear my watches tight, that might do it. The main thing I wanted to share is that it's a perfect "every occasion" timepiece.

Goes great imo... :

No, but Nadal wears his and Nadals watch is > $500,000.00. I'm trying to remember the brand now. Although I I've worn watches almost always since my youth, I don't think I've ever worn won when playing any kind of sports.

Yep that's it. I was even able to try on a Richard Mille watch in Vegas. It wasn't my style (Fugly in my opinion) but it was a $750,000 watch. How often do you get to wear a $750,000 for even a couple of seconds. It was memorable but even if I could have afforded it, there was no way I would have bought one. I would apply for a few Pateks however.

I would love to have three quarters of a million bucks on my wrist. Even if just for a moment.
