Absolutely caught that, as I'm from the SF Bay Area.

Thanks for the compliment on the Weltzeit. I love it. Swiss usually gets all the glory, but I really like what the Germans are doing.

^ Awesome pix. I hear you re Swiss manufacture, but seriously over the last year or two Glashütte, Nomos and obviously ALS are definitely some of my faves. My next grab will probably be one of those. (probably not ALS tho!) lol

Both nice watches, but that Datograph is the bomb!

They've incorporated the GMT function pretty well in both the Tangomat and Zurich, so I would lean that way if it's useful to you.

Holy cråp, Matt — I didn't know you'd switched to a Datograph. Sweet!

You can always get the GMT + version which uses numbers away from the Meridian instead of names.

As nice as the mesh bracelet feels, its not really my style.  Really like this honey colored croc for this watch though.

I've been thinking aboout that but they're discontinued and the price would actually be a bit higher than the other GMT from my vendor, although elsewhere it looks like the price is generally lower. I'm unusually struck with indecisiveness over the decision between the Zurich Weltzeit, the GMT and the GMT plus. Probably will just stick with GMT and call it a day.

Awesome Lange....and excellent example of black dial / dark brown strap combo.

Datograph is just killer.

I feel the same

Feel similarly about their city choice myself.  I'm in Chicago, but they use Mexico.  After trying on both, if I had the money I would likely go for the Weltzeit, but I already own the Ahoi Atlantik, which is basically the same case as the Tangomat GMT.
