Have we done a readers' wives theme before (the UK members will get the reference)? I'll have to post some pics. Of watches, of course.

Did she drop in on the ground? : (

My wife used to wear a Swatch. She destroyed it and wont wear watches any more.

Academe, that AP is a stunner.

Although it ain't much by TWAT standards, I was so excited I had to takes first pics in my car before I'd even driven away from the FedEx office.  First impressions: it's exactly what I wanted it to be.  Now Foo has joined the Italian navy, I'm with the German air force...

Warning: Ze Germans are coming (albeit modestly-priced ones with Swiss motors). (Click to show)

I can see it now. :) Very nice Stowa, Mimo - I've always liked that model.  Congrats and enjoy!

Great looking watch, meemoe.

I was lucky enough to get an invite.  It was a great event.  Lots of very passionate JP Journe fans and just general watch lovers.  The watches, ooooh the watches, just insanity.  Absolutely great brand with winner after winner being released.

So for the last month I've been making my way through this thread from the beginning, day by day and was amused to get to the end and find one of my pictures posted.  I figured now was as good as any to say hi and to mention how much I've enjoyed going through this entire thread.  Might as well post my small collection.

The Glashutte posted above is actually on the block at the moment as I'm wanting to pick up something on a metal bracelet and this is the one I currently wear the least:

My main watch is this Nomos Ahoi which I bought this summer after wearing the Tangente pictured as pretty much my only watch for the last three years:

And this is my fun watch.  Its kind of a cross between a Panerai and a Genta design:

So you have to buy a Stowa wrist unworn?

Congrats on the new Stowa, @mimo. Looks magnificent! smile.gif

+100 mimo, congrats. I believe we called it, right?

Maybe not down to the dial choice (which I really like) but something was telling me Stowa Pilot.

Great choice. You'll have to give us a full review sometime down the road.

@pmeis: welcome to the thread.

Terrible iphone flash pic of my wife's Cartier Roadster, since she happens to be right next to me:

Very nice collection of watches.  Glad to see that you decided to say hello and share some photos with us.  Wishing you luck with whatever you decide to purchase next.
