Yes, that's some lovely emameling. For years I've entertained the idea of having something enameled on the back of my gold Reverso (as well as some engraving done on my steel Reverso) but nothing has come to fruition.

@~ B ~  That is just lovely.  I'm wondering, though, whether a simple mono-colour enamel dial will be offered?  While I admire the artistry that goes into a complex cloisonné such as that butterfly, it's not my particular preference for a watch dial.  A solid deep blue or even white would really float my boat, though.

Agreed.  Unless the hands are neon green, reading the time will be tough.

I'm so far behind reading up on this thread, that I have nothing to say that was not said by someone else ... two weeks ago smile.gif
But here is today's Omega SM300 on Hodinkee suede.

Is that a true vintage SM300 or one of those NOS Watchco ones?

Indeed a Watchco build. Wouldn't even call it a NOS, only the parts are NOS, and probably not all of them. But it's an amazing watch in its own right, wonderful vintage feel but still a "new" watch.

They're in NYC at the moment so it will probably be a while until I have a chance to take some pics.

I have a feeling that they will be viewed by some on TWAT to have been poorly chosen representatives of the Reverso line, with the cash better spent on a different model. shog[1].gif

F that. They are representative of what YOU like from the Reverso line, and that is what matters.
