Did Moo ever post the specific Panerai he's considering? Although I'm a panerai fan and even I can't say I saw a Ferrari model that didn't look horrible

This is the one I really like:

It is not subtle.  It is perhaps not beautiful.  But I don't hate it either.  It's something that could be loved at the right price, for sure.

Its cool, and has a neat shape. Will work well with your leather, Moo.

I looked up a bunch of other photos of it, and sorry but I still don't care for it.  However, if that is what will put a smile on your face, go for it!!!

It's an OEM strap from Blancpain that I picked up at the Tourbillon Boutique in Gustavia last year. Not sure who Swatch uses to make them but it is a real beauty.

Moo

I've seen a few of the Ferrari watches by Panerai in the flesh. I really wanted to not like them, but they are really good looking.

So Moo, here's my advice. Maybe you should just sleep on this one.

For like, a while.

I'd rather not give a specific time frame, but long enough to reaaallllly ponder it.

Is that a couple weeks? Couple months? I'd say yes.... a couple months....at least 60 days.

(So I'm getting specific after all).

Put it this way: let the fever run its course, and then if you still want it on New Year's Day 2015, then by all means, YOU DO YOU!

Just trying to give a little pause, is all.

Is it doushey to wear a Ferrari co-branded watch if you don't drive one?

I don't know, I've never been to the moon, but like to wear my Speedy moon watch, so...

I have never felt there is any need to own a brands main item in order to own their other paraphernalia.

But that's just because the Speedy is so well build, it can withstand that kind of abuse/appreciation.
