Outstanding. I remember fondly how infatuated I was with my white dialed Daytona when I first got it.

Thanks TC! I can't get enough of it. It's insanly accurate as well as you know. Everytime I pick it up it feels incredible. I know some people won't understand me but you do bond with your Grail watch.

Oh I do understand! Unfortunately I'm on day 17 of an estimated 2 week wait for delivery of my current grail. Feels like an eternity! smile.gif

Also thought this was super cool. Special acoustic mini guitar/piano thing for AP to test the sound of their repeaters.

I wonder what the ideal repeater sounds like in their estimation? Quiet?

FedEx asking for SSN for overseas packages is nothing new.

https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/314/~/importers---social-security-number-%2F-tax-identification-number-%2F-irs-number-%2F
If the supplier hires a carrier that provides door to door service, the carrier service usually has brokers in their supply chain to clear the goods on behalf of the ultimate importer. If a formal entry is required, CBP regulations require the broker to put the ultimate importer's identification number on the Entry Summary CBP Form 7501. The ultimate importer's identification number is either the EIN/tax identification number assigned by the IRS or the importer's social security number. A formal entry is usually required for commercial importations valued over $2,500.

The article that I was reading actually said that using that contraption, in the relatively small room they were testing it in, it resonated quite loudly.

Holy wow that is freaking awesome. I'm a musician and a watch nut… never knew the two could be combined! Very cool.

I would imagine… yes. The wood is a solid grain, particularly the top similar to a quality guitar… likely spruce, walnut sides and ebony bridge and arm. Again, very cool.
