Anyone have any experience with Jewelers Mutual insurance? I have self insured until now but with the collection growing it probably makes sense. They seem to be well regarded on the watch fora. I would prefer not to go through my homeowners insurance as I've had to switch 3 times in 4 years due to premium increases, and getting new appraisals etc. every year would be a PITA.

No, you're definitely wrong. As in you're fucking wrong.

'Faux pas' is a French expression and it's pronounced ''f-oh p-ah'.

But please, go ahead and pronounce it 'foaks pahz'.

Some folks pronounce French expressions correctly because they actually speak French fluently.

The rest just come off as trying too hard.

Farmer is an English speaking dude who says 'foaks pahz', while trying to appear very bourgeois.

Brown is for farmer.

Brown watch straps are nice.

Remind me: how do you pronounce 'foyer' again?

If we're going to gripe about pronunciation how about the woman in JLC's promotional videos? "Zhay-Zhere Lay Kooultruh". Sounds like the name of a cheap stripper when pronounced that way.

Yabut Clive Owen pronounces it like that too so it must be right!

I did, gave your post a thumbs up. Thanks.

I am back and forth on a number of watches. Don't want to buy, sell, buy, sell... But I am indecisive so the research is taking a while. And I do like the research part of the experience. smile.gif
