Diving, climbing; same difference.

A Sub with as suit is okay. A President is better.

Yes and no. The Exp 1, apart from the dial, looks much the same as a Datejust, and was the same size until recent years (I dislike the 39mm Exp 1 btw). A sub is larger and far sportier.

The Explorer is pretty much a bigger Oyster Perpetual.

Good Lord. If I wasn't such a sport watch guy and would buy a SS Nautilus on my way to saving for that watch, it would be THE Patek. Absolutely perfect.

Good guess. That's the third place contender at the moment.

Nice guess. Not a fan of the Daytona on strap and since this will be primarily for social/weekend wear I want something that wears a little bigger than the Daytona.

I don't hate them, but I don't really care for them.  I used to like some IWC products, but currently they don't offer anything that really interests me.

Gold Rolex, that wears larger than a Daytona, but not a DDII....I'm guessing Gold Submariner or GMT.  If you went white gold...I'm hoping its a new WG "Pepsi" and not a WG Smurf Submariner (not a fan of the blue dial and blue bezel of the WG Sub).
