You get to look at a huge rotor and someones bad choice to put lettering on everything they could.  If they went solid caseback I am sure they would have added some damn picture to detract from it as well.

Yep.  That's on a solid gold perpetual calendar, don't you know.

Whereas there are simple time/date steel watches in similar-sized cases, that have rotors like this:

(Just appeared in my local AD today, happened to be passing...couldn't resist a feel...)

That is a great picture Mimo.

Also, harking back to the Patek talk a while back--saw this on TPP this morning. Patek needs something like this (on the left) in their collection. Handwound, of course.

Anybody got a 37mm AP RO? Any chance of a wrist shot?

+1, that's a fantastic piece but you wear it especially well. Congrats again!

Awesome watches as always, gentlemen. I have really started warming up to the black dial Daytona. For a very long time I could only appreciate the white dial, but now the black dial makes a more compelling argument. It's funny how one's tastes change over the years.

Can do, I just took a few DSLR Reverso pics but this cell phone wrist shot is my favorite of the day:

He is a rescue. He and his brother were found starving in a dumpster at this time last year, and we're doing our best to show him the other side of life.

Sun Moon tonight, have a great weekend guys!
