None of those look better than the Speedy, IMHO.

Anyway, here's another reasonably priced item from a massive manufacturing conglomerate.  It has a column wheel.  A blued one at that.  Priced at just under $3k, what says the TWAT?

Sportier version - black dial on bracelet (sorry about the light, the bracelet is normal steel, not black) (Click to show)

Column wheel chronograph movement, based on the old ETA/Valjoux but made with this addition just for Longines.  Feel the blueness:

Off-white dial, all sticks, croc strap - dressier version. (Click to show)

There are a lot of things in this world for $3k.  But I do think these are rather nicely conceived, in either guise.  Go on, let's have it...
I'm a sucker for column wheels

I also really like the Damasko DA36 as a "beater/tool" watch. Especially on their new bracelet...

I like the Milgauss the most, but I think the Jubilee bracelet really works for Moo.

Moo Are you still sticking with the "one watch" approach? If so, I would go Milgaus. I've tried on that Milgaus and really enjoyed it. You know I'm a Panerai guy but they are fairly polarizing and if it's not for you it's not for you. If I had to choose between the 36 inchers, I prefer the second one (silver dial).

I went in for a Milgauss back in 2010 and left with an Air King. Sticking with my "smaller is better" theme, I have a 35mm Nomos Orion on its way.
What dial did you go with on the Orion?
Milgauss and Blackseal look great on you IMO

The original white dial, gold indices, and blue hands.

So there I was minding my own business, having breakfast and reading the paper when all of a sudden this jumps out at me, featured in a full page ad from a local AD:

Been vaguely thinking about a Planet Ocean but that may have to wait in line after this...

Thoughts?

Not my steez, and I would actually feel limited in what I could wear it with, but its pretty cool.
