Frilly, you've bought it now, haven't you?

It looks fantastic on you.  And incidentally, a guy bought one in front of me at an airport not long ago. He was a deep sea diver.  He said all his buddies had one.  Even though they have computers, it's kind of a badge to have a "real" watch as well.  I suspect some of them only wear it off duty so they can say "well I am a deep sea diver..", too!

Sometimes more is more.  You are definitely more.

I like you Frills, a lot, but I just don't think it looks good on you. I say this on the off chance you still haven't purchased it.

If you have, I'm sure you will enjoy it and congrats. You get the most out of your watches, more than anyone I've met, so I'm sure you'll put this one to good use. And while I don't like the color of that rubber strap, I think it fits the watch better than the bracelet and makes it look a bit more balanced.

Enjoying my latest addition, Officine Panerai Radiomir 1940. Need to find a nice Gator in brown though, since 90% of my leatherwear is brown.

This is why I love TWAT - feedback and inputs from folks whose sense of taste and style I respect. This has got to be one of my most polarizing purchases of late - see the remarks above.

Love you my brethren. Let's see how much fun and use I get from this monster, huh? 💪

You know, it is kind of funny. The watch looks proportionate when you do a mirror shot, but it looks huge when you do a wrist shot.

I hope you wear it in good health my friend. Although 'tis not my favorite of your watches, I understand that we all have our watch-related vices. I have my Monster, some have their PAMs, Hublots, RMs, etc. This hobby does not need to be serious all the time smile.gif.

Congrats, Swede, and I think they all look better on brown straps for some reason.

Frilly, a little bit of over-the-top didn't hurt you in any other aspect of your personal style, so I find this one perfectly consonant.  You go, my man!

And very nice Swede, I think a brown PAM would look great!

Resident KeithT has a JV strap on his PAM, and that also looks delicious...

Frills, have you purchased it??? I thought it was a try on, you weren't kidding about pulling the trigger? Congrats and wear in good health, that's a great purchase. Please send it my way if you get sick of it smile.gif

Isn't it strange how that goes?

Congratulations!

thank you Gents! It was a tough decision between black vs white dial but at the end, decided to go with white.

Saving for AP 15400 next!
