Re: Santoni IIRC their straps are only available on the 8-day hand-wounds, so the croc straps on mine probably aren't from them.
As for the Gladstone - I wholeheartedly agree; unfortunately it's not mine, and I can't seem to find anything quite like it. I've half a mind to just commission one similar to it for myself.

The strap is stupid expensive tho, around $500-600 bucks.

Picked up the Everest Horology strap for Rolex Submariner and put it on yesterday.

It's definitely more comfortable much quieter than the bracelet. I'm not 100% sure i like it more than the bracelet overall but we'll see if it grows on me.

My ex-gf's steel and gold Connie was a few years earlier and differed in that the bezels on the earlier models were flat.  From the photo it looks like yours was the next generation which had domed bezels.  Again, nice choice share some more photos when you have time.

Great to know - doubt I'll be getting the strap though. At that price I'd rather buy another pair of Carmina penny loafers [my beater pair of choice]

it would seem. though i was really hard on that strap, wore it daily for 3 summers in a row in 100 degree + heat for 15 hours a day. unloaded trucks..... all kinds of dumb crap.

with my new and present job, another alligator should be just fine. i really want a JLC replacement, but those puppies do not come cheap.
