But it is a very pleasurable hole.

Wait, that didn't sound right

Haha, I don't know, I am sure a bunch of car forums would be pleased at some kops smile.gif.

You know, I think that actually sounded just about right. The Cayman S looks really cool. I love it, aesthetically speaking.

HRoi - well done sir. (slow clap)

Frills - if you ever get into cars, we'll make a separate forum just for you. It would be bananas I'm sure.

Nuke - young, single. No wife. No kids. Get as many watches and fast cars as you can now. NOW! devil.gif

I would have loved to join in on your "douchy pictures of cars and watches" love fest, but my car game is sorely lacking. So here is a watch with true racing pedigree, and a car with, well perhaps not as much laugh.gif
Skoda racing team representing! You gotta love a 10 year old station wagon.

Add me to the "live in the city and rarely drive"-category! Also, I live in the country of the world's most expensive cars and gas! The Cayman starts at 115k USD. (But the Tesla is "cheap", costing about as much, due to electrical cars receiving special tax treatment. As a result, I see as many Teslas as Toyotas where I live, and a couple of Tesla taxies driving around ...)

HRoi, that's a delicious pair there...absolute madness.  And for what it's worth, and with the caveat that I am even more of the Neophyte, I think the Portuguese is beautiful - and that one in particular.

NS, my "car game" is even worse, as I'm losing my car with the job that gave it to me, and it wasn't any good in the first place.  I don't even have any awesome watches to compensate!  But I drove a Skoda for a few months last year and it was a lot of bang for the buck - ten years or not.  I'd recommend it to anyone.

Another "douchy picture of a car and watch".
Headed to work this AM.
Minivan is around the corner.

Another douchey pic of a watch and how I got to work this A.M. Haha.

Hey, I like the bike! I should get mine out more often

My thanks to all you gentlemen for your compliments

All these Porsche pics make me wish I hadn't sold my 911.

I will suffer through with the RS5 a little while longer, and then another Porsche it will be.

Once you start, you can't stop...

Yea, BK. I hope, for your sake, you don't have to deal with that RS5 much longer. What a horrible existence it must be for you....LMAO!!!!

Bkotsko - you're obligated to show a pic of your RS5 and your watch now.

If happily take an RS5 over most Porshes any given day and on Sunday too

But I enjoy learning and TWAT is a lot less tedious than most of the watch enthusiast site/threads. My car and Porsche enthusiast status, however, are considerably more evolved (somehow I missed that Dino was a Cayman owner)

In the Cayman vs 911 debate, my answer is the quintessential SF response - get both!

Beautiful eye candy in your garage.  Likewise, I didn't know you had a Cayman S either.

I've been in love with cars just a bit longer than watches.  By the age of 9 I knew what a Rolex Submariner and GMT Master were.  In some silly junior high school art class, where we had to use a silk fabric and colors of dye to make a design, what did yours truly make....a yellow gold GMT Master on a gold bracelet.

Cars I loved since I was even younger.  I had Corgi cars of the James Bond Aston Martin DB5 and the Batmobile....oh how I wanted those and of course to be James Bond and Batman.  When your a kid everything is possibly!  Why can't you be James Bond during the day and Batman at night?  I also loved Speedracer and his Mach 5.  So I figured on the weekend, I could be Speedracer!   Then of course I got into space ships and the Gerry Anderson series Space 1999 and and the original Star Trek...so basically things that were fast and pretty became a fascination (although today I know a great deal more about them than simply their looks).

Here is a current garage photo.   We like having an oldie for its largely hand made workmanship and quirks, Red turned 25 this year, and also a modern sports car with moderns amenities performance levels.

Oh and for the hell of it here is a car and watch photo.

Cool photo!  Yes, I've heard that the US is "Almost a bargain" for sports and luxury cars compared to many places with insane taxes on fuel and imported cars.  I know when I was in college there were several wealthy foreign students that came to the US and bought Porsches, BMWs, and MBs, there were even a few who bought a Lotus Esprit, a Ferrari Testarossa, and Lamborghini Diablo....because they were relatively inexpensive compared to in their home countries.

Sounds like you should consider a Tesla for your next vehicle!

If we were to get another Porsche....I think we would go with a vintage air cooled 911...just love them!  But that would only happen if we were lucky enough to add to what we already have.
