Suited up today and back in the AP RO. It has been almost a week, feels great!

Thanks my man.  It took me about 52 hours from the time I first saw the picture, but I'm done barfing now.

Thanks for the kind words Frills! And I have to agree--that thing is hideous, it had to be some kind of veiled eff you by PP to T&C. I don't see PP putting out an abomination like that on their own.

[Edit: so is it Clymer's? The bastard!] That numerical font is so vintagey-sweet, and VC lugs are always icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif Blued hands, too. What a killer. Probably 35-36 mm, but I would absolutely rock it.

Nice pic, Roger. Love the brown strap. Any further early-ownership impressions?

Nice watch. That piece is one of the few out there that looks great as a two-tone.

Something about the 80s vibe, I guess. (Not meant as a slur, but rather a compliment -- I promise.)

The SS/gold Datejust was also very popular back in the day (fluted/jubilee was the way to jam on that one).... and then the other piece that comes to mind (for me) is the Omega Constellation. Somebody posted one here a while back, but I can't recall who. I think those three two-tones have "aged well", if that term can be applied appropriately under the circumstances.

And I'm just going to leave this right here:

This is perfect - an update to 38mm would have been killer for SIHH.
