I'll go with that. frills when I first looked at the pic I guessed someone was posting a pic of a srong un, surprised to read its credentials. The T and the month ludicrous. Who would buy such a thing...

Now, this should be the perfect size for me at 38.5 (grande is a bit on the bigger side), but from these pictures I don't like the larger indicators at 3 and 9 (the grande, IMO, looks more stately). Anyone know a source for real-life pictures? Deciding if I should switch out my order of the grande (most likely not though).

love. and i think the graduated hour indices are very pretty. is it being made in gold of the yellow, rose or pink variety?

That case/lugs and dial just don't do it for me.

i assume you mean the 1907 not the 38.5mm MUT?

i LOVE this new MUT but the 1907 is not doing it for me either. i like what they were going for, but i dont love the execution 100%.

Yeah the 1907. I'm not really in the market for a simple dress watch right now, but I like the looks of the new MUT in pink gold.

Marvin - Nice Ing!  Is it the angle of the picture or does that suffer from a the problem the DSSD has in that the bracelet tapers in more than it should?

Cpark - Another Cartier in the thread!  Looks like a Santos variation?  Haven't seen a Santos in person yet.

The crown also seems a bit small on that 1907 model, and +1 on the lugs....maybe just abbreviated too much for the case... and therefore not as elegant as it could be.

Good effort by JLC, but still just a smidge off, if you axe me. Would like to see it in person, though. Perhaps that's not the best image.

Welcome, cparkernz. The Santos is under-appreciated. Some great history there.

yes, obviously an in the flesh investigation is required before final judgement.

anyone who under-appreciates the first mens wristwatch of all time is a fool.

Appears to be a Santos Galbee, possibly a smaller size as the date is at 3.  I really like the current Santos Galbee XL (its smaller than a Santos 100), as its very versatile in terms of wearing with casual wear or suits (a friend of mine with better than 20 watches, including 2 from independents) says its would be his choice if he could only have one watch to wear with everything.  I just wish they would offer a version in a reasonable size with either an in house movement or less common movement from say JLC, Piaget, or F.Piguet etc.

Love this, would be curious as to how it wears on my wrist.

Suited up today and back in the AP RO. It has been almost a week, feels great!
