Nice shots of the Big Pilot and also some sweet loafers you got there, TC.

Roger, I really love that tight mesh bracelet on your vintage piece....great combo. Awesome look with the suit.

Talk about opposite ends of the IWC scale (!) but both of those watches are really great icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Thaks for the comments, gents. By the way - the mesh bracelet/strap/thing was an unbelievably cheap $10 Ebay find. I half expected it to fall apart in a week - but it has been going strong for a couple years now. I had previously worn the watch on an assortment of leather and croc straps, but it always seemed to call out for mesh.

That IWC Big Pilot absolutely kicks butt.

HRoi - I am absolutely in love with that Lange.

HRoi - Thanks for sharing some more photos of your beautiful watches!  Great choices!

TC Glad to hear you are enjoying your IWC BP----but sad for you 15400  :( which hasn't been off the winder.

Oh, the 15400 is going to get plenty of wrist time, believe me! I've been super casual the last couple of days (in denim today even), so the BP just feels so right. The ones to feel sorry for are the PAM112 and the Sub. smile.gif I fear it will be a while before those guys see much action.

I will take care of them.

Thanks for all the comments on the pictures, guys.

Just like TC, I've been wearing the GL1 nonstop since I got it. I will cry when it gets it's first scratch cry.gif

TC, Looks good on you.

Frankly, it took me a long time to warm up to the BP. I like it now, but It took a while. It is too big for me, but It is a very cool watch

RP - stellar IWC brother.

TC - BP lookin' clean as usual. By the way if and when you have to set the time, you're going to love spinning the hands around with just a small twist of the crown.

regarding the Stowa - handsome watches. By no means a 'poor man's pilot' as some have wondered before. I agree if it's just the waiting that's putting you off, then I would wait since I hear they're more than worth it.

If it's other things (prestige, recognition etc..), then I wouldn't get the Stowa as a substitute. It definitely is a watch that can stand on its own, unless bought for the wrong reasons.

In either case, keep us updated!
