The Watch Appreciation Thread (Reviews and Photos of Men's Timepieces by Rolex, Patek Philippe, Breitling, JLC etc...) - Page 1849

We are surely friends. :fistbump:

Agreed with Mimo, but more about watches than the shoes. There are a lot of watches posted on this thread that I wouldn't even want to wear if they were given to me no questions asked (obviously there are a lot I would gladly take the risk of being arrested over for stealing). But who cares, I'm not wearing it, and they enjoy it. If it calls to you, it calls to you and that's just part of this hobby/obsession.

I will applaud a whole lot if you get this done.  Love it.

indeed. there was also another steel+dia dial ladies DJ, that fancy vintage explorer, and a pepsi dial, but they had already been packaged up to go so missed out on pics. frown.gif

what was so interesting to me about the first 3 i posted was that the person who came in with them was a lady, and she had 2 mens models and one ladies model. they were all pristine, and the sub, which based off of the serial # is from 2008 and had the original hang tags with a MSRP of 6k, was factory sealed. none of them looked they saw a day of wear. odd.

True confessions time -- can't stop thinking about kopping a Safari. Realize that ROOs are a bit vulgar, but damn it so am I. And this one really speaks to me ... Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

i happen to prefer the classic RO, but i do like the safari very much. so does @DerekS.

If I still had a bike, and if it were real alligator and not stamped leather....just maybe :)

Watch this space.  In the mean time, I am waiting excitedly for you to bow to the inevitable.

I use to really admire that Safari until I tried one on a few months back. It is not nearly as magical on the wrist as I had imagined it. Like you said, a lot of other tempting pieces in the price range.

Cleav that combo is pretty fantastic! I'm kind of wishing I had gone the Radiomir route instead of my 112. Just dresses up so much more nicely.

Lately I have had my eye on this:

HAH HAH HAH! Awesome!

I was thinking this might be more mimo's cup of tea (or, well, mine):

But then, collecting shoes involves some costs as well.  From Arnold Schwarzenegger's Facebook page yesterday:

"Ever since I came to this country I collected cowboy boots. It is a hobby that requires a little work."

^^^ BOOOOOM!
