+1 to the other voices on the universal beauty of the no-date Sub!

My work here is done.  For this year.  Next year must usher in a whole new wave of frillyvolousness.

They're on the 82 Last with a Dainite Sole.

I'm not sure if I saw your Nauti and Galway picture before or after I submitted my order. But I always thought about getting a pair of the Blue Galways ever since I received my Dark Oak and Walnut pair about a year ago.

It's been a long wait, but it will certainly be worth it in my book. In the meantime I've ordered and received a number of other pairs of shoes and boots which has helped to keep me distracted elsewhere. I didn't have anything planned for January's gap until a couple of days ago. I just filled that with a cordovan loafer. I don't know what I'm going to do if they don't arrive here in February. LOL

That's awesome.  Mine is actually on single leather soles, but also on the 82 last.  I have the Dainite soles on my dark oak and walnut pair.  I don't think you can ever have too many Galways.

They might have minute repeaters in that section!

Sadly it is only in the local Gristedes here in NYC which does not really stock a Nautilus.  I am often pissed because it doesn't even stock Baked Doritos Nacho Cheese, which is the ultimate goodness for me.  If someone offered me a choice between a minute repeater and one serving of Baked Doritos Nacho Cheese I might hesitate for two seconds before picking the chips.

If you ever get the minute repeater, I'll be sure to offer you the Doritos in exchange.  Fair trade is no robbery. :smarmy:

I was thinking the very thing. In fact I was contemplating getting a third pair, however I may just opt to get another St Crispin boot first however.

Haven't had anything to contribute to the thread in awhile, but now I thought I would post my latest acquisition. I've been trying to acquire this for 2 years, but always ended up spending my watch money on something else...

Congrats. That's a great watch.

Great pic, Hroi!  Definitely one of the best-looking Masters.  Really nice pic to capture the depth and personality too.  Congratulations!

Thanks guys - @mimo I appreciate the feedback on the photo too...to be honest it looks really terrible on my iPhone so I was feeling a little troubled about half-assing it

Well it won't make the cut for the brochure, but I like it because it looks "real".  Makes me want to pick up the watch and, well, steal it, actually...:)

For some the chase is all. However, sometimes the realisation of an acquisition is better than that sense of not having or the anticipation of owning a beautiful thing.

Great choice

Congratulations H, wear in good health

How about this one? It given to me by my best mate - the son of a "colourful racing identity" and it was his dad's favourite watch. If the watch could talk it would have a lot of interesting stories about crime figures that are household names for most Aussies.

The watch is a solid 24K gold block made in Switzerland in the 80's. The brand is "Century". It seems to be a one-off because I have been unable to find out any information about it. Even when I got it valued they couldn't find out anything.

I love it because it is so old school and the original owner was like a second father for me.

Going on a complete non-sequitor here, but anyone seen this before?

Is that a pancake?

I looked it up, and I believe the chairman of Hublot watches also makes cheese as an aside.

Apparently it's not sold and he only gives it away as gifts.. Came through my twitter feed - apparently gifted to former Tour de France Champion Cadel Evans.
