Cuff links were the last thing on my mind in that post.  I'd like to nominate it for post of the week

One day I'm going to come back to New York and visit you gentlemen.  That sounds like a threat.  It's more of a vague promise.  I might wait until I've got a better watch.  Hmm..maybe buy that instead of visiting New York?  Life's impossible sometimes.

Ahahaha, nice edits mimo.  On the other hand, I already feel proud of myself that it's been weeks since I seriously started obsessing about these links and I have yet to pull the trigger.  And here I am about to wait for another month?  Sheez.

Dino is right, though.  Comparable solid gold offerings from Cartier, Hermes, etc are in the same range or even more expensive. Here I go justifying things in my head....

Not has hot as Kate but still  :inlove:.    Great links...I think Frills just doesn't want to admit that he was sleep walking and called and instructed payroll make a direct deposit from his bonus to your his Patek dealer!  Resistance is futile Bro

I am actually astounded that none of these have found their way into the Batfrills Pimp-tastic Mega-closet.  Yet.

Mimo, I was just rocking a Stowa, so no reason to wait on a more baller watch. It's always nice to hang out with happy-go-lucky people during a relatively stressful time of year. Really enjoyed meeting the both of you today.

And as some who dislikes "fancy" cuff links, those Pateks were great. I actually went in telling Frills, "don't worry, I'll talk you out of them." Oops, I was wrong. Buy them and enjoy them.

Bonus of the day:

mimo - please make it stop.

Ahhhhh I've always wanted to see how the cufflinks looked! I'm pretty sure they're the only branded item I've ever seen outside of a makers specialty that I've actually liked.

VERY nice. Of course, the cufflinks sort of get their thunder stolen by the timepiece a few inches away. Drooooooool.

That Wempe manager we met has been a friend for at least a year.  Got a few watches from them too, both for me and my wife.  I walk in with DLJr and Newcomer and the two of them get handed the Lange catalogue, in a nice red Wempe bag.  I said WTF man, where's mine.  Hahah.

Yes, I like quite a few Stowas.  I see there is a delightful Germanic theme here - I was going to question why your photo was next to the Nomos display with all that finery around.  But Stowa -> Nomos -> Lange...all beautiful things in their own right.

Funny thing happened the other day: courier company calling me to try to find my office.  I'm wondering what's on the way - expecting a few things.  Finally the guy arrives and it's a stiff document envelope.  I open it to find a "seasonal" greetings card from the Lange boutique in Dubai, signed by all the staff  If only they knew.  But then maybe they're smart enough to know that however long it takes...

Mimo, I can appreciate your interests are elsewhere, but I have to disagree with your statement.  :fence:

I am indifferent.

But now I am lost in reverie on German watches anyway.
