Absolutely fantastic.

Anyone have any recommendations for a strap for a Omega Connie 'pie pan'?

Mine is basically identical to this one (not my photo) and I'm looking for an alternative to black gator/croc:

PS - gdl, I ended up with a Bond-style black/grey/orange NATO for my Exp 1.

I can almost feel your facepalm.gif across the globe right now. Better than the Jubilee bracelet still though IMO.

And yes looks great on your wrist!

Thanks for clarifying.  I haven't been following JLC as closely as I used to, and the photo was a bit small to see the differences.  But the info regarding the rational for using a red R at the 8 marker is very cool!

Loving all the JLCs of late guys. Beautiful!

Again my fault for not following JLC as closely as I should recently, but your post clarified why I've seen differnet hands & stitching posted in photos on the net.  So thank you.  I was in Canada in the fall and tried on a Reverso 1931 and I greatly prefer the hands, dial and stitching on the world wide model over the US version (although I'd gladly accept either if my Wife wanted to buy one for me).  Thanks again for your your informative post.cheers.gif

Nothing wrong with that - Rolex sport watches on bond and nato straps are fine. You need other straps though - you'll get tired of that setup quickly IMO

nice Omega apropos! Looks great!

Interesting variations on the JLC Reverso US edition... I like the face but something about the stitching on the strap seems a little odd....hard to tell w/ just that one pic but love the watch!

btw, this is really weird that my PAM + espresso picture is being reblogged and tumblred around.

Just found out that my Explorer II with the 3186 movement is worth $1.5k more now than when I bought it. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gifI don't have any intentions of ever selling it but it's nice to know that it's sought after!

Well, apart from starting this nice thread, it is a cool shot.
