Recently, I wore two pocket-watches, just like in the very old days (17th-18th century) when one would wear two watches in order to check the time against each other.

One gold chained watch in each trouser pocket.

Finding a contrast strap that would fit the very thin JLC deployant was a problem. Even JLC didn't seem to have a contrast stitching strap that was thin enough at the end. Aftermarket was a prob because the strap is an odd size. Frustrated, I went to Tourneau in Palm Beach and dug through every strap they had. I finally found a Rolex strap that fit.

Here it is: I quite like it . . . .

Isn't the Duo a Grande Taille case (42mm long) rather than the Classique case (39mm) ?

I didn't think so - I have the old duo with the recessed button that adjusts the hour on the reverse face. The one with the push button may be bigger.

I'll measure later to be sure.

Reverso Duo ref. 271 84 70? It's 42mm long including lugs, Grand Taille case size, which is larger than the Classique

Is the Classique size a good one for small wrists? Mine is 6.25"

I personally think it's a bit too small and I'd go with the GT case (not XGT though). 6.25" wrists are not that small. You wrist is probably 2.5" wide (viewed from above), i.e. roughly 62-65mm. A 42mm watch (incl lugs) would look very well proportioned

I to have a Bulova that I love. I even keep it in the box when I am not wearing it. I'll try to get a pic up soon.

Here's my collection... not too shabby for someone just out of college. Sorry about the blurriness of the pics, hopefully getting a new camera soon!

What is the last watch? I can't read the name on the dial. I like the combination of metals on it...very nice.
