FROM SAVILE ROW TO NYC
From a working-class town outside of Manchester, David Reeves was never satisfied with the ordinary. At the age of 19 he joined the Savile Row house Gieves & Hawkes and learned the fine art of bespoke tailoring.
Over the next 11 years he worked his way up in the tailoring business, refining his eye and talents under Richard James of Savile Row and Timothy Everest amongst others. He personally consulted, fitted and managed the make up of garments for many high profile clients, including the last two British Prime Ministers, members of the English Aristocracy, and “Pop Royalty” such as Elton John, Paul Weller, Bryan Ferry, Nick Cave and Paul McCartney.
In 2007 at the age of 30 he moved to New York and established his own business: “Reeves”
Reeves is a true bespoke tailoring house. Focused exclusively on only quality bespoke work, bench made locally in New York.
While The Reeves house style has a naturally strong Savile Row heritage, David also constantly seeks out new and innovative luxury cloths which add a distinct, creative finish to his “unapologetically English tailoring”.
In other words, just what you were looking for.
