DAVID REEVES BESPOKE OFFICIAL AFFILIATE THREAD - Page 4

Primarily, you get fitted by David who knows what he is doing, rather than a store attendant who may have started yesterday for all you know.

If you like the style suits David makes--and they are definitely different than most Samuelsohn I have seen--there is no question in my mind that he will do a better job.

Actual construction, I don't know, I will let him answer that.

Pick the style you want, then go with that. David's cut is always very English, so don't do it if you expect some southern Italy flavor

Construction is on par with those makes, full canvas, working buttons, pick stitching. Buttonholes at that level are not hand stitched as standard. As has been said though a rather different style, people often ask for advice on here about selecting tailors or goods. The best advice though is really just to trust your senses, look at the suits I produce, if you like them and can see yourself wearing one, then you can buy one if you like.

His suits are nice, I am going to see him for a fitting of a suit I purchased during the sample sale. I believe for each level of pricing, you are getting a great suit.

I should be free from about 2.00 if you want to come in earlier today.

Do you ever travel to Canada? Toronto, specifically?

Would love to start doing trunk shows but Its just a matter of making them profitable. If I could get a 5 suit order with a client or between some others I would have no problem going out of State or to Toronto.

I'd be up for that (I'm in Toronto too). Why don't you start a thread to gauge interest? Flying to Toronto is relatively cheap.

This would be cool, especially if you had the 1/3 off deal! Would consider getting two at that price.

Uh oh, sorry guys, I was thinking Bespoke. With the necessary fitting 5 MTMs even at full price wouldn't do it. Of course if enough people can get together we could make it work. I will ask the moderator if I can do a thread to organize trunk shows, or maybe I can just do it here.

The MTM coats usually run at $2000 when someone uses a high end cloth in the construction. If you wanted to do this, you could still take a 1/3rd off during the course of the offer.

Hi David,

Does your MTM coats line include peacoats? How much customization is possible? Also, do you travel regularly on the Eastern seaboard, say to Washington, D.C.?

I don't have an MTM pattern for a peacoat but I could make a fabulous bespoke one. Usually I just operate in New York, but if enough interest is there out of state I would be open to doing trunk shows or even visiting individual clients.
