I don't worry about using wifi because I don't need it.

lol

I think the most I have used was 15 gigs and that was during a month when my house wi-fi was down for a week.

Fact is if you like to stream content it can quickly eat of your data. I prefer streaming services for my music and will download podcasts and audio books on the go as I feel like listening to them.

This , jailbreak means free tethering too with vzw speeds so no public wifi to steal my info that easily either

Bored. Going public beta on my MBA and iPhone. Mistake? Probably!

So far I like everything about iOS 10. The handwriting thing for Messages is particularly good for Arabic.

Are you on public beta? Should probably be safe to download by now given that they dropped beta 7 already.

Any crashes?

Yeah, it's the public beta. I haven't had any crashes and my apps all work fine. So far the only thing I've run into with Sierra is my VPN (Express VPN) stays connected but every 5 seconds or so throws an error and for some reason I can't log into my Yahoo account on Safari. Siri on the MB appears to be useless though. I tried "open a new Word document" and it just gave me a list of word/text files on my computer.

Cool. I'm going to enroll my personal iPhone into the public beta.

Oh god the emojis are hideous on iOS 10. Hate the depth they've added.

😫

Not looking forward to the super sized emojis in the next update.

I've been wanting a iPad mini for a long time now. Are there any rumors of a new one that will be "better" than the mini 4? Should I just wait to update my iPhone 5 with a new mini in September?
Rumors indicate that the mini might get axed within 2 years. I think they're going to push people to get iPhone pluses, kill the mini, and focus the iPad lineup on 9.7" and above.

Anyone feel like the multitask drawer for iOS scrolls way too fucking quickly and abruptly? I find it much less usable because of this.
They changed it to have clicks instead of a continuous thing. I never use the multitasker but i feel like the continuous was better.

I think getting rid of the iPad Mini would be a mistake. It's a great size and if they would just release a "Pro" model that works with the Pen it would be the perfect note taking device.
