I bought a sport watch because I develop apps part time. Absolutely useless at this point in time.

It isn't useless, it just isn't particularly useful.

The apps are mostly garbage, so the real use I get out of it is the previews of SMS and email to know whether I should pull out my phone or not.

Do you ever feel self conscious about that? If I saw a man look at his watch so he could decide if he should look at his phone, it would make me feel sad.

Why? It is far more discrete than pulling out your phone.

Admitedly mine is ultra-hipstered with a cordovan nato strap...

The most utility I get from my watch is through skipping and pausing music while I'm driving.

Everything else is useless.

Most modern cars have buttons on the steering wheel and console buttons for that for that - certainly almost any car that can bluetooth or an aux jack.

Froggy's car may or may not have fully functioning bluetooth music streaming.  I'm thinking it doesn't

*edit*

Yeah i have something similar in my car. It's good enough but it aint like having native bluetooth functionality built into the car.

RIP Mailbox. frown.gif

I had switched a while back do to it not meeting my needs with certain features, but I am sad to see it go. Still one of my favorite email app UI's.

New battery case from Apple:

I don't find it as ugly as most seem to, but that's mainly in appreciation to it not adding much bulk to the device. Most battery cases are huge and heavy. Being able to use a lightning port to charge while it is on and the added antenna hardware is nice too. Still it's a bit pricey at $99 and being 1st party I don't expect to see it drop anytime soon.
