l'll definitely consider an iPad Pro. Need to learn more about its functionality and then see it operate.

Found my old 1st gen iPad. Only thing I'd use it for it for is reading news, and watching netflix/60 mins in bed.

For that it's amazing and it's not worth upgrading just to have that. Well the 60 mins app is not outdated and can't load any content, and the new 60 mins app will not work on my 1st gen iPad. This sucks!

It's funny but I'm still on the 3rd gen. It was the first Retina iPad and generally underpowered for pushing all those pixels. Thing just feels heavy and slow these days but I haven't had a huge urge to upgrade. I'm still a big believer in tablets in general but think the pricing needs to come down across the board if they expect people to adopt regular upgrade cycles. Offer me a $200 and I'd be more inclined. But at $400? I think I'll wait another year to year and a half and see if I can stretch it out

Mine is also 3rd gen. Haven't found a good enough reason to upgrade, but the iPad Pro has me interested. Seems bigger than what I'd like though.

Lol. Kidding aside I'd be more excited for the pencil if it could work with the Mini. Would be an awesome note taking machine with the right apps.

The thing is huge. It makes the iPad look like a mini.

I wonder how long you can hold it like that before it starts to feel heavy.

That's the thing. No one would really use it as a one handed device. It's too big and heavy. I'm not sure why Apple would even attempt to market it as such.

I had a play on one yesterday in the Apple shop, it's big, certainly not something I would want to lug around.

To my mind it is definitely closer to a Mac book air than and Ipad. I know apple are great atv making things we don't think we need, but I think this might be one of them.

If you want a laugh go read the comments to Verge's iPad Pro review. It's an absolute cesspool of trolling and MS fanboyz getting their panties in a knot that anyone could possibly review the device higher then the Surface 4.

I think the Surface Pro 4 is a much better option than the iPad Pro. This is from someone who has every had every iPad since launch and uses a MacBook Pro.

The iPad Pro occupies no mans land imp - unless it can be a Wacom or external monitor - but it costs a lot for that. I'm somewhat biased because a good friend works at MSFT and he showed me the 4.

Any thoughts on the 27" iMac? Looking for a general purpose computer for the house. Photoshop/internet/email/word processing. Trying to decide whether to buy vs build.

Of all the crazy things Ive accomplished in life, I cant believe I did this. Mother in laws iphone 6. Dropped in toilet, hasnt worked in 8 months. It was just sitting around so I thought I could take it apart and try to fix it. Its alive!
