Does anyone have an Aukey charger? The 12000 mAh is on sale on Amazon for $14 right now. Thinking about grabbing one.

I use the Mofi chargers. Work pretty well, can charge two phones at once, and charge your phone at double the speed.

Obviously not $14 though

Anyone have experience with nylon braided lightning cables likes this one? I'm sick of my cables wearing out, fraying and breaking over time. I thought one of these might be more durable. There are several brands offering them at different prices and some are Apple MFi Certified. I'm mainly wondering if they actually would provide the advertised benefit in durability.

This is actually a rather brilliant idea. If the fitness/health tracking works well and the app is solid, I could see these types of supplemental gadgets that you add to items you already wear really taking off.

Pretty cool. I might add one to my Blue Spark. I was just sitting here remarking how useless the Apple Watch is in its current iteration. Apps still take fucking forever to retrieve information.

The longer I use it the more I scratch my head over how Apple deemed this acceptable use. I shouldn't have to wait 20+ seconds for info to refresh when the device's whole premise is to show quick glances of info.

This all brings up the question... why are you still wearing it over your BS then?

First gen is always teh worst.

I'm holding out for second gen, that's if my Fitbit holds up until then.

I'm not really sure what Apple could add to the Watch in 2nd generation to make me crave it. It's not like the iPhone which lacked the much needed 3G radio or the iPad which was simply too heavy to hold comfortably for long periods of time. A thinner, nicer looking, watch is simply not enough to change my opinion of it that the device simply has no place in my life for the prices they are asking.

Thinner would help...but they need to make it work a hell of a lot better.

I don't even remember the last time I saw one. Certainly haven't seen an apple billboard or anything pimping one lately (and I take the train every day through the station that they seem to literally own and have constantly plastered with backlit ads.).

The Apple Watch is not working right?

If only Steve Jobs was still around... biggrin.gif
"Can anyone tell me what MobileMe is supposed to do?" Having received a satisfactory answer, he continues, "So why the fuck doesn't it do that?"

BTW I've found that the Mac App Store doesn't work half the time, anyone else found that?

My first gen iPad Air is starting to feel a little sluggish and heavy, thinking about replacing it with the iPad Mini 4. Looks like the Mini 4 has a better pixel per inch and pretty much the same speed as the newest Air.... Any reason I shouldn't go for the Mini?

This will mainly be used as a reader for magazines/articles/websites and to control my music at home.

I have the Air and the Mini, both 1st gen, and I use the Mini 90% of the time.
