Wow, neo being a white knight little *****.

Wait, have we gotten to the point where we take Neo's schtick so seriously that we start to mock him for it?

Yes. Yes in that we will mock him for that, but no in that we take his schtick seriously.

I resent Pete Carroll for turning Bill Parcells' Patriots who won the AFC Championship into a mediocre and irrelevant team. Things worked out fine (got Brady / Belichick), but I'm not giving Carroll credit for that. He also just comes across as too damn smug for my liking and seems to think his players only need the maturity of the frat boy types he coached at USC. I mean, I know he was used to working with paid players at USC but still. I think Sherman is a talented CB and a brash, arrogant loudmouth when he wins, but he doesn't know how to take a loss.

In fairness, I believe this is a scheme issue, and not really up to him. Also, fwiw, late in the game against the Cowboys this year, he started following Dez Bryant around the field, and I think he did just fine.

He also shut down Jeremy Maclin who is having a very good season right now.

i think that was more because mark sanchez wasnt playing well.

He's been beat a few times but still a top 3 corner imo. I think he followed dez around that game because maxwell got injured and the replacement was no match for dez

And, NEWS FLASH!!, fandom can be highly emotional and illogical to the point of just throwing your hands up and asking yourself, "Does anything go as far as reasoning in these discussions?", but the way he treated Michael Crabtree made him endearing to me. Why? Well, there was a catch that Crabtree made against my beloved Longhorns that will forever make him the polar opposite of "endearing" to me. And that is enough for me. Way more than enough.

I am biased because I got to see this interview in person (albeit a few rows away)

I don't get why people think she's so great. I'd rather have me some Michelle Beadle.

Beadle is great - genuinely intelligent and funny. I have no idea what Erin Andrews' personality is like

Erin Andrews' personality can probably be described as "basic."

That catch will forever endear Crabtree to me and all other Texas Tech alums. The look on Colt McCoy's face was priceless after that TD.

sCam Newton learning a thing (perhaps if that's even possible) about karma. And wtf was he doing driving a '98 Dodge pickup?

Not sure how I felt about tonight's game. Good defense for sure but also some inept offense.
