Peyton already has a SB ring.

one ring for each hand

The Super Bowl Peyton won he spent the entire game throwing short dump-off passes in the rain to Addai and Rhodes (who should have been the co-MVPs). I think he really wants a great Super Bowl moment like his brother, Brady, and Big Ben have had.

I'm generally pretty terrible at predictions. That said, I think Carolina will win but it will be less of a humiliation than two years ago. Denver has a better defense this time around, which should help, but I don't think they have enough gas on offense to do much against Carolina. I'd go with a 30-16 Carolina victory.

The SB almost always sucks … it's really like the worst game of the year.

It's not that terrible. 10 of the last 16 (6 of the last 8) were decided by 7 points or less. One that wasn't (Indy vs. NO) was close until a late Peyton Manning pick-six and 4th down pass on the subsequent drive landing in the end zone.

The only SB that really sucked recently was the Seahawks/Broncos where it was over right after halftime.

I also think Carolina wins, and handily at that. They just have that swagger.

Denver has a few strengths - their D obviously and some great skill players. DeMarcus Ware is a fantastic player and if he has a great game left in him, could make some magic happen (or create the opening for Miller).

But really, I do think Denver needs something to happen - a defensive score or a couple of lucky plays to have a legit shot at winning.

Peyton will choke once again

I have no real rooting interest, but I'd like to see Denver win just to see how salty the Patriots fans get. "But . . . but . . . Tom Brady is still the GOAT!"

To be fair, he is.

And he still would be. Tied for most SB wins, record for most SB starts, record for conference championship starts, record for most playoff wins, etc. Peyton can have his regular season stats. I'll take the rings over the stats any day.

I'm okay with Peyton getting a second ring. He's a good dude and one of the best QBs ever.

It's funny how people bitch about Brady even when he is not playing.

Brady and Peyton's postseason stats are actually pretty similar 🐸☕️

I hate the wins/rings argument as a proxy for him having skill. Dilfer has as many rings as Manning. Is he as good? No. Really wish arguments would be based on better stats.
