The pope left DC yesterday afternoon and was in NYC by kickoff. Coincidence? I think not.

Commercials were better than the game. Except maybe the fantasy football commercials.

Haha. He's Argentinean, though. Wrong "football" thread.

Looking at the Pats schedule, I legitimately believe the only team that can beat them in the regular season is Denver.

Maybe the Jets are for real but other than that, I think they have six opponents in the bottom half of ESPN's power rankings and so many injuries to the Cowboys... yeah it'll be an easy regular season

The only team that looks like they can really challenge the pats is Green Bay.

Pats/Green Bay super bowl would be exciting.

Oh, please. They barely pulled out a win against my Steelers, with the Steelers' defense in disarray and Le'veon Bell and Matavis Bryant ineligible. And there are a number of teams out there that are almost certainly better than the Steelers.

I meant more in the AFC, which is a dumpster fire (and would be who they're playing in the playoffs). The cards look pretty dangerous and who knows, maybe the jets will take them down biggrin.gif

The thing is, no teams look that great. And with the pats offence firing on all cylinders the way it is, it'll be hard to outscore them (both the Steelers and Bills games were less close than the scores reflected)

This is the part where I say it's only been two weeks. Don't forget the Pats opened the year with a 31-0 loss one of the years they won it all.

Is there anyone on the planet who can stop Gronk? Other than Bernard Pollard, of course.

Good thing I picked up Carson Palmer as my back-up. But my god, that sucks.

The Cards are really good.

Or Colin Kaepernick isn't that good.

I'm leaning towards both on this one.
