I went to bed at 24-0 thinking the Broncos had this game won for sure. Shocked to awake this morning to find that the Broncos squandered another huge lead. Yep, a preview of postseason with Peyton.

that hurts, mayne. but i guess you speak from experience.

This might sound redundant but this game is painful to watch. Not for Niners fans obvi

I'm not sure how RGIII is supposed to do his "magic" when the pocket keeps collapsing within seconds of hiking the ball.

I'm not sure RGIII ever had half as much "magic" in the tank as his fan boys ever thought. I never really understood the hype, going into the draft some even suggested he was better than luck.

It doesn't so much "collapse" as it "implodes with enough speed to cause nuclear fission"

The outcome of my fantasy match-up this week basically came down to whether RG3 (my team) or Helu (other team) played better last night. Sucking slightly less FTW!

The hype was because he was a freak athlete at QB. More importantly he WON A FREAKING HEISMAN AT BAYLOR!!! Baylor and that offense is ridiculously good now but before RG3 Baylor was complete garbage. He brought them to competitive respectability his first year there and got them 10 wins his last year there. That's where the hype came from.

Come on guys. RG3 is amazing. Let's not be prisoners of the moment. The guy is months removed from an ACL and MCL injury.

two weeks ago I offered Harry Douglas for Ridley. The manager laughed at me.

Meanwhile Ridley just cost him a spot in the playoffs.

Maybe he was laughing at you because it was a bad trade for you. Dude is a good friend for not letting you go through with it.

Freak athlete at 5'10" ? His arm is good but not drop your jaw good, he's undersized and quick. Ask Vick how that works out. Luck is as good an aall all around athlete. Hell, Tebow might be as good an all around athlete. That does not get you far in this league, especially at QB.

I give the guy four years tops as a starting QB in the NFL. I like the kid, but give him enough time and he will pick up one too many injuries. At that point it's backup duty or being a network analyst covering college football. Plus defenses are starting to figure out the running quarterback / read option thing.

Actually they aren't. Most offenses from last year just aren't running the read option as much. SF has been playing with mostly two TE sets because they don't have the personnel at the moment to do so. And like I said RG3 is still recovering from knee surgery. I think he will learn from this season. I remember it was around this time last season that many where ready to give up on Cam Newton.

Granted he made the mistake of coming back too early, but I believe he will be back to the RG3 we know but alot wiser. ACLs are no joke. It took Tom Brady about a year to get back to his regular self after his ACL surgery. Peterson is just the rare exception.
