Bought a suit and it's FREE RETURNS.
Pants are tight.. I prefer going up a size so I can work out my legs and still fit the pants (they don't sell separates).

How is the fit and what should I alter besides the pants length?

I mean I would prefer to but if I won't fit a 38s, then I guess i'll have to skip leg days (ugh)

Sorry for ****** quality and lighting..

Looks small on you. It is straining at the button point.
IMHO it's better to take in a jacket than hope there is enough fabric to let it out.

I'm afraid I'll have to agree...

You need an extra inch of length (which you won't find), the buttoning is too high for you and that jacket is too tight.
No use altering it. Find another one

Thanks for the advice.
Couple questions:

1. When going up in size, do lengths remain the same? For example, if I go from 36s to 38s, would the length be the same or just the chest size?
2. Can you elaborate on your comment? Can't I get a 38s (if it's longer than a 36s) or a 38R and cut from the bottom and sleeves?

Thanks.

Btw this is from suitsupply and I guess the biggest problem is cutting the workable sleeves.
The reason why I really don't want to switch is because I can't find another good/reasonably priced interview suit similar to this (cut, lapel length, etc.) Any suggestions?

The real problem with Suit Supply is indeed the surgeon cuffs (open sleeve buttonholes). It is beyond me why they would open all 5 of them but well, it is indeed an issue.

1. Length grows with the size of course. On SuitSupply's website, they give measurements of each suit by size so you'll be able to see what's the length of each size (and all other measurements as shoulder width and so on).

2. You can get a 38 S or 38 R of course and it would be good since your jacket is too short. On the other hand, you NEVER cut from the bottom of the jacket, because otherwise pockets appear to be too low.
