Hey guys!

Many of you might know me from the Streetwear & Denim side of the world. We design our own in-house menswear collection and we have retail boutiques in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Santa Monica. We've been Alden & Carmina dealers for years.

We're thrilled to announce that we'll carry VASS starting this Fall. We just received our first style, and we'll have about five more in a few weeks. Outside of these in-stock shoes, we'll also offer single pair MTO service and group buy MTO's. With Group Buys, we can make up a specific style at the usual stock price provided at least six people order into it. We've done this with Carmina for a few seasons, and it's a great way to get uncommon shoes at a good price. Plus, it's fun to debate the in's and out's of each design. VASS is also willing to do some custom work with us as well if there's a shape or pattern that you like from another manufacturer. We can always ask.

Both myself and Matt Smith (user leftofthedial) will be on hand to answer questions, and offer advice. Please feel free to call, email, or PM us at anytime. Our direct emails are contact[at]epauletnewyork.com and matt[at]epauletnewyork.com.

Okay! So let me start things off with showing you our very first in-stock style... a Scotchgrain Austerity Brogue on the F-Last:

Austerity Brogue F-Last in Cognac Scotchgrain: $865
Please note, as this is our first style, the lasted shoe trees are included at this price.

And, a few guys in my Affiliate thread started to round out some ideas. So here's some talking points to get things started.

here is the idea for the Alt Wien boot...essentially a similar version to Alden's...the only difference will be that the broguing will not go across the top of the boot (circled in red in the photo)...it will just continue to the top...perhaps we can add the diamond detail that Mike had on the Alden version of the shoe he had last month....

the other detail that we would have to choose is the medallion...I think that Vass has two options...I personally like the fuller one...

here is another idea...a boot version of the pics below...i think this would look amazing in the museum calf...a note to all...Ilcea Tannery the original maker of the Radica/Museum calf has gone bankrupt...Vass has found an alternate supplier (the same as John Lobb Paris' that they switched to about a year ago) and is expecting samples in September...

Re: the antique cognac NST: basically perfect... but do they offer a different eyelet/hook configuration? I'd prefer 5/4 or so.

Oxblood PTB would be incredible as well. I have been looking for a very minimalist shoe
