Aargh . . . I checked my closet and I've got a lot of dark brown shoes. So now I'm leaning toward the DM.

Looking forward to seeing samples of the gray, navy, and plum museum calf.

Looks like the double monk has been the most popular choice. Anyone go for the U-Cap or the Alt Wein?
I went with the u cap,
it will be my first vass. Really looking forward to them.
Mike was very helpful discussing sizing etc...

all here are a pair of Alt Wien boots I ordered before Mike started the relationship with Vass...P2 last, burgundy cordovan, larger "classic/traditional" medallion...

^ Fantastic boots.

I used a lot of willpower to keep from going in on the u-caps. I am really eager too see how this group turns out and excited about future possibilities.

Great looking boots! How would you compare F and P2 last in terms of fit? I'm 42 in F last. I'm thinking ordering black calf boots in either P2 or F last.

thanks

I'll be able to let you know in a week or two when my F last boots arrive. I went with a 45.5 on P2 and 46 in F based on Rezsö's guidance. I am usually a TTS US 12D.

Thanks a lot! I'm US9 TTS and heard that P2 is very comfortable last and also asymmetric with higher toe box.

Thanks so much for the orders everyone! We're going to close these three styles tomorrow at midnight, so there's still time to place your shoes if you haven't already. As always, we'll be happy to offer personal sizing advice via email. We've hit the minimum for all three styles, so everything is going straight into production. Here's the lineup again:

Has anyone here done an individual Vass MTO through Epaulet yet? Would be cool to see some examples. If the museum calf double monk group MTO fits me really well, I may need to start looking at individual MTO options.

Who is up for a GMTO of this in Plum Museum Calf?

Does anyone have any pics of the new gold museum calf from Haas tannery - Vaas' new museum calf supplier?
